Make a Balanced Odd and Even Numbers in Your Combination:
Did you know that odd and even numbers in your combination matters when selecting your Euromillions numbers?
When you fail to count the odd and even numbers in your combination, it hurts your chances of winning.
To understand the probability of a combination based on odd and even numbers, we need to take it from the context of number patterns.
In this case, we need to find the many ways odd and even numbers are combined to form a combination.
In a the EuroMillions 5/50 system, there are 6 ways you can combine numbers with odd and even numbers.
The next question now is which of these odd-even patterns is the best to play in the EuroMillions.
And the way to find out the answer is using probability theory.
To find the probability, we need to find the number of favourable combinations we can produce out of each pattern. Again, we use the binomial coefficient formula to determine the number of favourable combinations for each pattern.

To get the probability of each pattern, we use the probability formula. Therefore, the probability of these odd-even patterns are as follows:

Based on the probability we can calculate the number of expected occurrences of odd and even patterns. We then match the expected occurrences with the actual occurrences using historical information over (100) Draws as follows:

Make a Balanced Mix of Low and High Numbers in Your Combination:
The same thing with odd and even numbers, you must make sure that you have balanced low and high numbers in your combinations.
Again, to be able to calculate the probability, we must take everything from the context of number patterns.
Let’s make use of a 5/50 EuroMillions game. A popular example of a 5/50 game in Ireland.
To start off, let’s divide the 50 numbers into two sets:
Low numbers = {1,2,3,4,5, 6…,25}
High numbers = {26,26,27,28, 29…,50}
We must know the number of ways by which we combine low and high numbers.
So here are the possible patterns, we also determined the number of favourable combinations for each pattern which is as follows:

Next, we need to calculate the probability.
The EuroMillions requires two (2) extra balls to win the jackpot but some system such as the Irish lottery system requires no extra balls.
In this case, we will only use the primary balls which are the 50 balls from the first drum. Therefore, the total number of possible combinations in a 5/50 game is 2,118,760.

Based on our mathematical estimation, we now know that two patterns in the EuroMillions come out better than the rest of the patterns.
Again, it doesn’t make sense to choose your numbers based on the bad / worst patterns.
And that is why it’s important that you know how to pick good lottery numbers based on the combination that appears more frequently.
In this case, the best low-high number patterns in the EuroMillions are the 2-low-and-3-high and 3-low-and-2-high.
But most of the lottery players are not aware of these number patterns.
It pays to know the probability of your combinations.
